Leading construction company based near Haverhill is looking to employ a Commercial Administrator to support the Commercial/Quantity Surveying Team

This Commercial Administrator role is an entry-level position designed to help you get into Commercial / Quantity Surveying and Cost Management.

You don't need prior industry experience-they will train you.

What you'll actually be doing (simplified)

Data handling: Inputting and managing project/commercial data (mainly Excel + internal systems)

Checking information: Spotting missing or incorrect data and raising queries

Admin support: Helping commercial/project teams stay organised

Chasing updates: Following up with site teams for reports or returns

Learning systems: Getting familiar with commercial and finance tools

Supporting projects: Your tasks will change depending on project stage

Skills they're looking for:

Essential:

Basic education (GCSE level)

Strong Excel / Microsoft Office skills

Organised and able to meet deadlines

Willingness to learn and adapt

Nice-to-have (but not required):

Any experience in construction/infrastructure

Familiarity with systems (finance, stock, purchasing, etc.)

Confidence using digital tools
