PPM Recruitment is currently recruiting for an experienced Fencer to join one of the UK's leading companies specialising in landscaping, fencing, grounds maintenance and horticulture.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced fencer looking for long-term, ongoing work, with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.
Job Details
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am - 4:30pm
Pay Rate: £16.81 - £17.93 per hour, depending on skills and experience
Holiday Pay: Included
Duration: Long-term, with permanent opportunities
Start: Immediate/ASAP
Key Duties
Installing fencing on new-build developments
Setting out and measuring fencing lines accurately
Installing timber, concrete and other fencing systems
Digging post holes and preparing ground for installation
Setting and securing fence posts
Installing fence panels, rails, gravel boards and gates
Using hand and power tools safely and effectively
Working from plans and site specifications where required
Ensuring all fencing is installed to a high standard
Maintaining a clean and safe working area
Working as part of a team to meet project deadlines
Following all site health and safety procedures
Requirements
Previous experience as a Fencer is essential
Experience working on new-build fencing projects is highly desirable
Valid CSCS Card - essential
Full UK Driving Licence - essential
Good knowledge of fencing installation techniques
Able to work safely and efficiently as part of a team
Reliable, hardworking and punctual
Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors
