Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and reliable Mechanical Plumbing and Pipe Fitting to join our crew in the Manchester area. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with plumbing systems, pipe installation, and mechanical systems in commercial or industrial environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair plumbing and piping systems including water supply, drainage, heating, and cooling lines.
- Interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical diagrams.
- Measure, cut, bend, thread, and assemble pipes using hand and power tools.
- Perform pressure tests and inspections to ensure system integrity.
- Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other tradespeople on job sites.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in mechanical/plumbing/pipe fitting.
- Strong understanding of plumbing codes and mechanical schematics.
- Ability to work in varying conditions, including heights, confined spaces, and outdoor environments.
